White.  It’s a polar bear.  If you leave a camp site at the North Pole you will make a triangle with these compass directions and arrive back at your camp site.  Polar bears have been spotted within 100 miles of the North Pole.  The furthest south polar bears live all year round is James Bay in Canada.  On a seasonal basis they can be as far south as Newfoundland.  Bears are not found near the South Pole because they are carnivores and need a lot of meat, which there is little in this region.
